"I can't imagine a day not helping others become the best they can be. I want to help make people better and I want to be better too! Their lives, their health, or maybe just their jean size. That's what KLEW means!"

While living in Rhode Island, I worked out with a personal trainer at BSC who went to CrossFit each night after training his clients. Little by little, he tricked me into doing things “for time” and for “as many rounds as possible.” My first WOD happened in the middle of the gym for everyone to see: 5 RFT of 25 Air Squats, 15 Sit-ups and 10 Kettlebell Deadlifts. He even called it “KLEW,” my nickname.  It took a while, but he eventually talked me into joining him at CrossFit Providence. We drove to a warehouse with two wide-open garage doors. Some people were running, and others were flipping tires. As one girl finished last, another who looked like she was the captain of any team she ever played on was right there helping her to the finish. I realized that CrossFit was a lot more than a workout, and I was hooked. Five months later I was interning for Reebok HQ in Massachusetts while studying Fashion Merchandising at JWU. Working for Reebok helped me realize that CrossFit is my real career. And I haven’t looked back.
